Toledo, in Castilla – La Mancha, is hosting this old Spanish music festival that merges sounds from different cultures.
Over one week there will be a series of Spanish music concerts that cover the 13th and 15th Centuries (Sephardic, Christian, Arab, Mozarabic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque). The Cycle, which dates back to 2001, is held in Toledo city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The wide variety and the richness of ancient Spanish music, which includes so many different peoples and cultures, justifies the choice of Toledo, home of the Three Cultures and referent of tolerance and interculturality, for hosting this festival. Visitors are invited to enjoy its attractive and impressive cultural offer.
This international festival features performances by several foreign music groups and members of cultural departments at different embassies.
It usually takes place in August.
